Wednesday 4th – Whiskey Wednesday’s at the James Griffin Pub
The James Griffin Pub brings you on a journey of discovery with our NEW weekly slot where we introduce & re-introduce you to some of the world’s finest whiskey/whisky with our “James Griffin Whiskey Club”. For the first part of our series we will concentrate on Irish Whiskey both from the smallest supplier right up to the largest and in some cases bring the distiller to you. Our first showcase is located in the Boyne Valley, Slane Whiskey – check out our weekly blog . The James Griffin Pub is the Boyne Valley’s leading Whiskey Pub and is one of the leading Whiskey Pub’s in Ireland.
Thursday 5th – Trad Sessions at the James Griffin Pub
This Thursday features the return of some the finest musicians in the Boyne Valley, our ever popular “Trad Sessions” attracts a huge crowd so be sure to get in early and experience the old world charm in Lil’s Kitchen at the James Griffin Pub and maybe even sample some of that fine Irish Whiskey or a pint from our touring tap, local Brú or indeed your own favourite.
Friday 6th – Acoustic Sessions with Davy Harrison
Every Friday at the James Griffin Pub we bring a new meaning to a night out with our “Acoustic Sessions”. This Friday we have Davy Harrison entertaining and it promises to be a night not to be missed.
Saturday 7th – DJ in the Garden
A mix of the best tunes on the decks by one of our house DJ‘s, every Saturday night is one to remember at the James Griffin Pub and we’ll be sure to have the camera out too so please smile and say cheese. Be social and tag us in all your posts, we’re the most social pub Trim, make every moment count at the James Griffin Pub.
Sunday 8th – Annie Powderly
From traditional to contemporary , with a bit of soul, pop, folk and country, this Sunday at the James Griffin, Annie Powderly brings her solo acoustic act to Trim. This would be a great end to your week if your weekend ends on Sunday.
