This week’s Cocktails of the Week are inspired by our very own Landmarks of Trim. With the King John’s Summer Prom being held Friday and Saturday, we thought we’d get involved and Create Two Cocktails inspired by the beautiful Trim Castle and Yellow Steeple and our rising popularity of GIN, not only in the James Griffin or the Town, but in the world!!!
“THE KING JOHN SLING” A take on the classic Singapore Sling, it’s made up of Gin, Cherry Brandy, Cointreau, Grenadine and Pineapple Juice! It is as Refreshing as it is Complex and really hits the spot on a warm evening!!!
“THE STEEPLE’S ECHO” is a take on the more illusive Last Word Cocktail, Consisting of Gin, Benedictine Herbal Liqueur, Maraschino Liqueur, Lime Juice and Green Tea! Don’t Knock this One Till’ You’ve Tried It! It’s light and crisp and dances on the palate of your mouth!!!!
